Biography of Illustrious Sir Steven F. Kibler, P.P. 33°
• Steve was appointed Outer Guard in 2002 by Illustrious Sir Louis HolcmanJr. Steve was the 97th Potentate for Ainad Temple.
• Steve’s Masonic background began when he was raised a Master Mason at Mayo Lodge #664 on August 13, 1980 in Winterrowd, Illinois. The Lodge then rebuilt in 1994 at Dieterich, Illinois and became known as Winterrowd Lodge #664. Steve served as Master of his Lodge in 1985 and again in 1994 and is currently Secretary, serving there since 1995. He advanced and received his 32nd Degree at the Scottish Rite, Valley of Southern Illinois on November 1, 1980. He served as the presiding officer of the Lodge of Perfection as Thrice Potentate Master in 1993-94. He joined the Ainad Shriners in East St. Louis on November 15th 1980. Steve received the honor of Sovereign Grand Inspector General 33rd Degree on September 27, 1994. Most recently he became a member of the Gorin Commandery Knights Templar in August of 2007, and was bestowed a Kentucky Colonel in 2009.
• Steve has participated and served as Ainad Shrine and Scottish Rite membership chairman, Olney Circus Chairman from 1983-93, and as an Ainad Aide for many years (1984-2002) before joining the Divan. He belongs to numerous Shrine Clubs and served as President for Jasper County Shrine Club in 1994. Additional involvement includes being involved as a member of Ainad Director’s Staff, Uniform Units, Lincolnland Hillbilly Clan #28, Little Egypt Order #63 Sword of Bunker Hill, and Royal Order of Jesters Court #86 (1989) and all have been rewarding. Steve’s dedication to the Fraternity and love for the Shrine is being fulfilled as he honorably serves on the Board of Governors at Shriners Hospital in St. Louis.

• Steve was born on June 20th, 1950 to the late Glenn C. Kibler and the late Vera Edith (Clark) Kibler. His father Glenn, who was a proud Ainad Shriner, urged Steve and his only sibling, Sid Kibler, from Effingham to join and get active in the Masonic Fraternity at an early age.

• High School Sweethearts, Steve and his wife Diane, the former Beverly Diane Jacobs, were married on August 15th, 1970. After graduating from Dieterich High School, they attended Eastern Illinois University (1968-1972) and later obtained their Masters Degrees in Administration and Elementary Education (1993-1994). Steve and Diane are retired Jasper County school teachers and reside in Dieterich, Illinois. They have two children, Stefanie Dougherty and Michael Kibler (Ainad Shriner). Stefanie is an Orthodontist in Valley Park, Missouri, and her husband, Jeff (Ainad Shriner), is a practicing Dentist in O’Fallon, Missouri. They have a son Brody. Michael is an IT Coordinator for Momentum Company in Chicago, Illinois.
