Dear Illustrious Sirs:

Congratulations on your year as Potentate of your Temple.  It is soon to come to a close.  But not before you have a great opportunity to bring your troops to the 2014 Great Lakes Shrine Association’s business and ceremonial session in Fairview Heights, Illinois, September 10-14, 2014.  I can assure you of a good time through wonderful Southern Illinois hospitality.  If you have not yet committed to attending, contact Ainad Temple office at 1-888-567-1870 immediately for housing information.

The Session will open with an opportunity for you to have a candidate(s) from your temple fezzed by new Imperial Potentate, Imperial Sir Dale Stauss.  As president of GLSA I challenge each of you to bring that special person or persons who are master masons that you would like to have made a Shriner in such a prestigious way.  What better way to show a new Shriner and his lady what the shrine is all about.  You’re newly made Noble and his lady can then attend all the festivities that follow.  Call or send the name of that shrine candidate(s) to our office now, 609 St. Louis Avenue, East St. Louis, Illinois, 62201.

Also, don’t forget about another great opportunity to see the New Shriners Hospital in St. Louis as well as one of the last chances to see the Old St. Louis Shriners Hospital.  Tours will be given following the business session on Thursday, September, 11th.

The ladies luncheon on Thursday also has a special touch by my lady Diane and her committee.  Former St. Louis Cardinal great Danny Cox’s wife Nancy is to be the guest speaker.  I’m sure the excitement of this lady will thrill all present.  Reservations will be required.

The President’s Banquet on Friday evening will be highlighted with the appearance of one of the best Elvis impersonators around starting at 8:00 pm.  Steve Davis (allies) Elvis is a Noble of Ainad and has played in Las Vegas numerous times.  Dress for the evening will be business suit and tie, tux is optional.

The parade on Saturday will be capped off with a FREE afterglow.  Bring your units and have a great time parading.

Lastly, and not to be ignored is the Oasis Hospitality Tent directly in front of the Four Points Convention Center, open every evening with live entertainment and libations, all included for a mere $10 arm band per night or $25 for all three nights.

Again, bring that candidate to be fezzed into the Greatest Philanthropy in the world.   We look forward to helping your year continue to be successful.

Yours in the faith,
Steve Kibler, PP Ainad, President, GLSA
